Hi,
Hi, My name is Sally, I am a wife to Marc and a Mum to Hannah and Thomas, and I am the owner and principal dance teacher at Showtime Dance Academy.
I started dancing at the age of 3 and loved every single minute of it. I completed exams in ballet, tap and modern jazz. I started teaching at the age of 18 for a large dance school and that’s when the dream began.
Our story
Showtime Dance Academy was born. I wanted a dance class that was inclusive to all. That wasn’t competitive, where all children of all abilities could come and learn to move to the music. Dance doesn’t have to be restrictive, dance is defined as moving rhythmically to music, there is no right or wrong with dance, it’s how you interpret the music.
Our approach
Our classes are fun and enjoyable, we laugh a lot and we are always smiling. Children will learn when it’s fun and enjoyable. It is important to me and all my teachers that children are learning to dance in a safe, fun and friendly environment.
